Hey,

There is a new Xbox 360 drive on the market which is unflashable. Its fairly rare at this time but we should expect it to be mainstream soon. If you want to avoid buying an unflashable xbox, then we would suggest try buying a preowned console.

We will keep you updated if this drive becomes flashable.
